Beginning in the 1960’s and through the 1970's the psychedelic movement had a large  influence on music, art and also pop culture. This included style of dress, language and the way people spoke, art, literature and philosophy. The movement had a lot to do with the popular drug culture at the time that was heavily based in hallucinating.
